cGMP Certified
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is not just a standard at Green Star Labs but a culture of excellence in everything we do. In accordance with industry regulations, our Quality Management System is designed with the highest policies and objectives.
As a company, we are committed to quality and safety. Our quality team oversees, continuously improves, and frequently audits every aspect of our operations, from processes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
An Overview of GSL’s Standard Operating Procedures
Green Star Labs uses only the finest materials to ensure that your products meet our superior standards. A product’s manufacturing process begins with the receipt of materials needed for production. As well as the ingredients in the product itself, packaging and other raw materials are included in this category.
Upon receiving new materials, they are quarantined until Quality Control samples them and ensures they meet specifications. A variety of tests are then conducted, including a microbiological test for pathogens. It is only after a quality check that materials can be used in production.
Upon starting production, the first step is to weigh materials according to their formulations. Our precision scales are calibrated regularly to ensure accuracy in measuring the amounts of each ingredient. In the following step, the ingredients are blended immediately after they have been weighed. To ensure homogeneity, we use V-type blenders, ribbon blenders, and planetary mixers to produce blends according to strict guidelines. Packaged powder products are moved directly from the blending stage to the packaging stage.
After the completion of a powder blend, the product moves forward to the production areas. Where exactly it goes depends upon the specific product. Dry ingredient, powder and liquid products move directly to packaging. Tablet products move to compression. Capsule products move to encapsulation.
The ability to meet the entire production needs of your company is one of the distinct benefits of working with Green Star Labs. This includes superior packaging services, and GSL offers many varieties for any product application. No matter what size can, bottle, packet, blister card, or powder pouch you are filling, it is no problem at all. Simply contact us about your specific packaging requirements, and we will be able to meet your requirements.
Our laboratory inspects every product before it leaves our facility to ensure it meets exact specifications. A number of tests have already been completed, including dissolution, disintegration, friability, and stability.
We move your finished products into our storage area once they have been packaged and prepared for shipping. We ensure your products remain in pristine condition until they are shipped from our facility. Additionally, we have a walk-in refrigeration units for storing Probiotics and other items that require refrigeration.

United States Food and Drug Administration
Facilities that manufacture, label, package, or perform certain other operations on foods, drugs, medical devices, tobacco, or biologics are required to register with FDA. An FDA-registered facility receives a unique registration number that is used for inspections, exams, and product screenings. Registration is also used to help FDA locate the source of any problem such as any harmful contamination of the manufactured products to prevent further spread or recurrence of the problem.
NSF International Certification
Certification by NSF lets you know that a company complies with the strict standards and procedures imposed by NSF. From extensive product testing and material analyses to unannounced plant inspections, every aspect of a product’s development is thoroughly evaluated before it can earn NSF certification.
NSF certification is not a one-time event, but involves regular on-site inspections of manufacturing facilities and regular re-testing of products to ensure that they continue to meet the same high standards required to maintain certification over time. If for any reason a product manufactured by an NSF-certified facility fails to meet one or more certification criteria, NSF will take enforcement actions to protect you, including product recall, public notification or de-certification.
